October Looms

by Gamesmaster on Sep.26, 2008, under Conan, News, Traveller

So I was sitting alone in my darkened cave watching The Gamers “Dorkness Rising” and I realised that I have not been keeping the faith. I started the chronicle to keep my friends informed of the happenings of a gaming party and the games they had played. It all started so well and then I lost my way. Now after nearly a year in the quiet solitude of my own hovel I realised that I have to be the one to keep it going. I have to get off my butt and start gaming.

Now most of you who read this will be part of the group I say to you this is your site too let me know what you want to put in it and I will try to apply the links etc that are required. Andy is a moderator and will also be able to apply things to.

That out of the way I have too round up a years worth of trivia and news in a brief write up so here goes.
Two GENCONS have gone by since the Chronicle started in its electronic form. I have witnessed a re release of TRAVELLER by Mongoose Publishing who I cannot praise highly enough. I have also seen CONAN revamped. I have decided to run these two games for the foreseeable future.

The gaming group has scattered to the four winds and I feel that I have lost contact with them. Before cries of “pull your self together” and “stop being so maudlin” start to ring in my ears I should state that we were a disparate group to begin with but the bonds of gaming have remained strong.

I have started a new job, one of our number is far from the county a third works hard at night and Dom manages to be a very busy boy all the time. It is my hope that soon we will be able to role play on a more regular basis but until then we must content ourselves to traveller solos and CONAN and traveller when we can.

you will find a write up of the traveller so far on the chronicle site somewhere

so until my next entry

Happy Gaming
