The Nuln Chronicle

About The Chronicle

What is the Chronicle?Well quite frankly it is the feeble attempts of a would-be poet to improve his writing in the vain hope that
… Rubbish …the chronicle is no more and no less than a newsletter for a group of disparate role players and gamers around the country. A chance for me (The Ed, The Bard … Whatever)to keep everyone appraised of the monthly game. For the group to have a focus point to pass on reports of other games like Blood Bowl, Monopoly or Killer Bunnies (Sites that have links in the electronic chronicle).

The Chronicle is my brain child but I cannot take the ful credit for some of the published articles. They are the work of contributors from that same group. I would like to thank them fo their efforts. I believe that I give those that do not contribute enough stick, I really am aware that some people work for a living and would rather read than write. I thank them for their continued interest.

Within this Blog (it would be a WEB site if resources allowed) you can find out what is happening in ongoing games of people around the Uk some of whom have never met. You can learn what makes me tick and if the others want to write about themselves about what makes them tick. I could fill this in with their names and what they have done to enhance our lives but that would not be fair.

I will tell you about those that have already provided for the overall product and the parts they play in my mini organisation.

There is Me:

I have taken on the role of Editor and am one of the two moderators on this Blog (The Chronicle)

There is Jules, I owe her a special mention as she is my technical advisor and has helped to guide me toward this particular form of E Experience. She is the second moderator and an avid reader of most of the tripe…beautifully crafted passages that I produce. Jules sits in a very small room in West Lothian designing websites – she doesn’t get out much :(

Then there is Andy, the games GURU. he has a keen interest in gaming and has attained the honoured place of being our chief provider of material. I call him … Andy

Finally Matt and John G. Whilst not regular contributors they have been published in the hard copy of the chronicle.

Finally I would like to explain tht the chronicle does not and never will take itself that seriously. Any spelling mistakes are intentional allowing the times readers amongst you to complain

Dear Sir,

I was reading my copy of the Chronicle when I noticed that they had spelt “spelled” wrong.

What is their editor thinking.

I demand he be sacked immediately.

Yours

Mr Perpetual-Whingebag.

The use of trademarked words does not mean that we are affiliated to any brand real or imaginary (indeed the uppity over paid corporate fat cats who believe that they will be paid less if they allow their brand to be bandied about seem to miss the point that no press is bad advertising). So to all at the fizzy drinks fat boy burger banking institutes out to make a fast buck I say “UP The Independent”.
