September Editorial
Well here it is the September Editorial and unlike my normal editorial there will be no ranting or random insults. Now I know you will all be shocked by this but I want to give my reasons as my main opener.
As you are reading this you will be aware that my little newsletter, once printed on paper and sent to you in the post, has now been put in to this electronic format. I want you my readership to feel that this is your forum as much as it is mine and I want you to comment on the articles I publish. To this end I have the ability to upgrade your access once you register. To date I have had a good response and have already registered a few of you. It is for this reason that I am not going to rant.
Now to business. The Plymouth Contingent is having it’s next session Saturday 23 September, note the date. This will be a a “foundation game” Character Creation and plot set up for the New Year game. I hope that we will be joined by the Bristol Posse but I can confirm that the Newcastle Massive is unable to attend.
The Play By Mail is now running and you all may have noticed that there is a password protected post on the front page. This is a test page I have set up to ascertain if the method can be used for those of you carrying out investigations. In order to get the password you must send me the Stats for your character (its D20 3d6 (6 stats)), your characters name (and/or Nickname) thier race, age, and (for those non humans) how you arrived on Earth, Present Day Plymouth.
If all goes to plan I hope to have a password protected page for each character this will hold clues to your individual missions plus your characters personal details. If you become the subject of an investigation then your colleagues will have to find your password and once they unlock your page they will pass on your code name to me. You must keep your codename and password to yourself. The player who successfully investigates a colleagues gains certain benefits. The investigated player gains a bonus and may assist in or take on a colleague investigation. This will be integrated with the normal storylines and plot investigations.
I hope that the PBM will be popular and I can count on your support. Get those characters in to me as soon as you can so we can get started.
Finally once I have time I will write up the August game in full.
All the Best
Keep On Gaming
